Fix it Den

This composition, titled Fix It Den, is inspired by Salvador Dalí’s Woman at the
Window. However, instead of the woman, I have depicted beavers repairing a water leak. The
piece reflects my perspective on beavers as diligent and hardworking creatures, always quick to
address and fix problems. Additionally, beavers hold cultural significance as one of the nine
clans of the Haudenosaunee.
To enhance the sense of depth and movement, I incorporated a three-dimensional element
using fabric, creating the illusion of wind blowing into the beaver den. Additionally, I blended
fabric with acrylic paint to create a textured representation of water, immersing the viewer in the
beavers den.
